Dr Ulf Sölter, director of the Gutenberg Museum since April, and Dr Anett Göthe, new curator at the museum, introduced themselves to the Gutenberg Circle of Friends and the Gutenberg Society with a special guided tour. The newly extended exhibition "Road to Nowhere – Prints by Tobias Gellscheid" was visited. Dr. Sölter explained references from art history from Albrecht Dürer to Andy Warhol and showed in an elegant arc the thematic interconnection of Gellscheid's works, from an apocalypse without the four apocalyptic horsemen to the (four!) Beatles and James Dean's burning Porsche.
The Gutenberg Foundation and the Gutenberg Society would like to express their sincere thanks for this intensive insight into the work of the young artist!
