Dear Good Friends,
after Dr. Julia Bangert left, Zvjezdana Cordier asked me if I could imagine being responsible for the Friends of Gutenberg. I was aware that I would be following great and experienced footsteps. But the cultural life and the commitment of the citizens of our beautiful city of Mainz are important to me and so I am very much looking forward to the new task of caring for the Friends of Gutenberg.
A few of you might already know me from our joint efforts for the first attempt to modernise the Gutenberg Museum. Everyone else will surely have the opportunity to get to know me at upcoming events.
The Friends of Gutenberg have always made a significant contribution to the support and promotion of the Gutenberg Museum in the past. Together, we will work to continue this success story and engage our commitment for the upcoming redesign of the Gutenberg Museum and the global significance of Johannes Gutenberg, the greatest son of the city of Mainz.
My warmest regards and see you soon
Your Rolf Zimmer
