During this year’s winter holidays you can print in the lulu. From 19 to 29 February experienced volunteer printers give small as well as big visitors the opportunity to create their own prints and to catch a glimpse behind the curtain of printing technique.
There are plenty of print motifs ranging from Gutenberg over Banksy to the carnival. With some instructions, names and small texts can be typeset. No prior registration is required to visit the workshop, thus visits can be completely spontaneous, either as a small break or the grand finale to a city visit. All we ask for is a small donation to the Gutenberg-Museum.
Gutenberg’s workshop advertises for the “Man of the Millennium” and biggest son of Mainz and provides information about the Gutenberg-Museum. It is funded by the funding organizations of the museum, the Gutenberg Foundation and the International Gutenberg Society in Mainz e.V.
